The ballot to approve new members Z136 Standards Committee and a new officer for the TSC-2 subcommittee closed Friday, October 20, 2023, at 5:00 pm ET. Sixty-nine of Ninety-three ASC Z136 members took part in the vote which represents 80% of the total balloting group, making this a valid ballot, per our Procedures (7.9.a). Below is a summary of the ballot responses and a link to the Interest Category summary document which was sent out 10/25/23 at 11:33am EST via the Z136 Standards Committee Documents Portal.
Per Section 7.7.1 of our Procedures on approval of new Committee members & subcommittee chairs, “The following actions require an electronic or paper ballot, with return of at least a majority of the full-Committee membership eligible to vote, and approval by at least a majority of those voting, excluding abstentions:”
